Grandparents day is this week and I have to admit, I have forgotten about it every single year until now! HA sorry mom! When I was a kid my school always had special events for grandparents where they could come to school and we would have a little party. I always thought it was so special and I’m sure my grandparents did as well!
We live a few states away from our parents but our girls are still SUPER close with their grandparents. My oldest is starting to read and write really well so I thought that this year for Grandparents day it would be so fun to create a little pen pal set for them to write snail mail back and forth! Plus, I know our parents will keep cherish the little notes filled with awful handwriting forever!
Writing snail mail is also a great way for kids to learn their address! That’s a tip I heard a few years ago that really stuck with me. This is a great chance to let your kids have free creative time. Set out the prompts along with stickers, crayons etc. and let their imaginations run wild!
You can download the prints here, here, and here!
I hope your parents and kids enjoy!
